Finding a property
If you see a property you like and want to view it, we can pick you up or drop you off at a location of your choice: just tell us when and where. We can meet you at any time of the day, 7 days a week.
If you are still looking for the right place, send us your requirements and we will add you to our database and keep you up to date with new properties that match what you need. Once you have decided on somewhere to view, we will show you around and leave you with a pack of photographs, particulars and sign up forms.

Applying for a property
Seen the property you like and want to take it? We use an online application service, so applying is easy. We will send you the link to the form, or you can do it over the phone at no extra cost. There are no forms to scan or post back to us.
To reserve the property we ask for a holding deposit of no more than one week's rent. Once it is paid, the property comes off the market and no more viewings take place while referencing is carried out. When the tenancy goes ahead, the holding deposit goes towards your first month's rent or your tenancy deposit. It can only be kept where the law allows, for example if you give false or misleading information, fail a Right to Rent check or decide not to go ahead. If the landlord decides not to go ahead, we return it within 7 days. The deadline to agree the tenancy is normally 15 days after we receive the holding deposit, unless we agree another date with you in writing.
We ask for the application forms to be completed within 3 working days so we can start referencing you. If you are a student, we will also send you a link to an online guarantor application (we understand this may take a little longer).

Moving in
Once your referencing comes back accepted, we meet at the property on the check in day to sign the contracts and paperwork. If referencing is not accepted, we will work through the other options available, because we know you want the property.
Your rent and tenancy deposit need to be paid 7 days before you move in, to allow time for the payment to clear. If we are completing an inventory, we do it on the day you move in; if your landlord has one, it comes with your paperwork pack.
You also get an information pack for the property: which utility companies supply it and how to contact them, where the bins are stored and which broadband supplier we recommend for your building. We want renting through us to be easy and stress free.
