  1. Apply online, wherever you are

    We use an online application service. We send you the link, or you can apply over the phone at no extra cost. There are no forms to scan or post back to us.

  2. Guarantor application online too

    As a student you also get a link to an online guarantor application. We understand it can take a little longer to complete.

  3. Reserve with a holding deposit

    A holding deposit of no more than one week's rent takes the property off the market while your referencing is carried out. When the tenancy goes ahead, it goes towards your first month's rent or your deposit.

  4. Your Right to Rent check

    Every tenant in England needs a Right to Rent check before the tenancy starts. If you have a visa or other immigration status, you can prove it online with a share code from GOV.UK.

  5. Viewings 7 days a week

    When you are in Durham, we can pick you up or drop you off for a viewing at a location of your choice, at any time of the day.

  6. Moving in

    We meet you at the property on the check in day to sign the paperwork. You also get an information pack: the utility suppliers, where the bins are stored and the broadband we recommend for your building.
